Children & Teenager Policy Guidelines No children under 12 years of age are allowed in the spa at all. Children from ages 12 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult in the swimming pool and hot spa areas as we do not have life guards on duty. Treatments that can be offered are:
Treatments are generally of shorter duration than those for adults. Ages 12 to 17 are considered teens. 18 years and above are considered adults. For teens, a parent or guardian must be present in the room for closed door treatments. Massage therapists are gender specific. This may not always be possible for beauty treatments as most male therapists are masseurs. Parents/ guardians must sign the indemnity form. At AltiraSpa, parents will need to be advised that we cannot perform two treatments at the same time in the same room due to the size of our treatment rooms.
