The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) Hotel Service offers CTICC clients a value-added, complimentary accommodation reservation service. Hotel Services assist with the provision of accommodation information, competitive rates, and hotel inventory requests from

The CTICC is only a 20-minute drive from Cape Town's International Airport. In the same time zone as Europe, and with direct non-stop flights, Cape Town is merely an enjoyable dinner and overnight flight from both Europe and the United States. Within walking distance of the CTICC
are Cape Town's leading recreational amenities, shopping areas and cultural attractions, among which are the internationally acclaimed Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. On the doorstep is Table Mountain and within an hour's travel are South Africa's leading tourist destinations – The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island, the Winelands, and Cape Point. Profile of Ownership The Cape Town International Convention Centre Company (Convenco) was established in mid-1999 by the Western Cape Provincial Government, the City of Cape Town and Business Cape to develop a world-class convention centre on the 6-hectare site occupied by the CTICC on Cape Town's northern Foreshore. Convenco owns the centre and is the holding company responsible for the establishment of the Cape Town International Convention Centre CTICC). The establishment and operating costs of Convenco have been funded by the City of Cape Town and the Provincial Government of the Western Cape. The CTICC cost a total of R582-million to build and the funding has been provided by The City of Cape Town R284-m; The Provincial Government of Western Cape R142-m; SunWest International R140-m; and Convenco has internally generated R16-million.
